Bill Marris to Emcee Wisconsin Governor’s Prayer Breakfast
On behalf of the Sponsoring Committee of Past Program Participants, you are cordially invited to attend this year’s Wisconsin Governor’s Prayer Breakfast. Held on the National Day of Prayer, the event will take place on Thursday May 1, 2025 at 7:30 a.m. at the Wisconsin Club 900 W. Wisconsin Avenue Milwaukee in the Grand Ballroom. We have a middle eastern theme this year with our keynote speaker Dr. Rev. Elie Hasbani coming by way of his home country of Lebanon. A Chartered Life Underwriter, William Marris is the retired General Agent for the Wisconsin Agency of New England Life/ MetLife. Bill has visited and led excursions to many Biblical sites in Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Greece, and Italy.
Leading the Prayer for Leadership will be Milwaukee’s own Lance Allan, Sports Director for CBS 58.
Leading the Tribute To Our Troops will be recently retired longtime career American Airlines Pilot Captain Brad Meeder. Much more about Captain Meeder is contained in the article in this edition of the Christian Courier Newspaper.
Doing our Old Testament Reading will be Miryam Rosenzweig, President & CEO of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.
Reading from the New Testament will be Richard “Dick” Pieper Jr. of PPC Partners. Mr. Pieper is one of the true originals involved with the Prayer Breakfast dating back to the late 1960’s when the event was organized by the Milwaukee Area Jaycees and its members Jamie Christie and John M. Fisco, Jr.
The Opening Prayer will be led by Jeffery G. Pyzyk, MAI, CRE. Jeff is President of the Appraisal Resource Group in Milwaukee.
Leading the Closing Prayer will be Luis Pito Pizarro. Luis is a graduate of the Reggie & Sara White School of Entrepreneurship.
Pastor Luis is also Founder of Transformed People, Inc. headquartered at 2240 W. National Avenue in Milwaukee.
